Reading · Psalm 139:1–3

O LORD, thou hast searched me, and known me. Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising, thou understandest my thought afar off. Thou compassest my path and my lying down, and art acquainted with all my ways.

Reflection

There is nothing about your day, your thoughts, or your routine that God hasn't already seen. For some people that's uncomfortable. For David, it was the beginning of comfort — being fully known and still loved.

Prayer

Lord, you already know exactly how I am today. I don't need to hide any of it from you. Search me, and stay close. Amen.
